Yes, as irresistible as they are and as difficult as it sounds it is important that the food that you eat is well-prepared, well-covered and safe from germs. Stick to home cooked meals and avoid eating outside.

Drinking Water: Monsoon poses risks of water-borne illnesses such as cholera, typhoid and dysentery, which spread due to the adulteration of drinking water. Boil your drinking water before consumption. Always carry your own water bottle and try to avoid unfiltered water at all costs.

Avoid Sea Food: Sea food is an absolute no! Monsoon is the breeding season for fish hence fresh sea food is rare. The best is to avoid them this time of the year instead of opting for frozen stale fish. Pick chicken and mutton to satisfy your yearning for non-veg food.

Wash Your Hands: You neglect this very basic instruction a gazillion times. In fact, washing your hands should be at the top of your list when it comes to taking safety measures during rainy season. This is the season when germs and bacteria’s work overtime to make your life miserable by targeting your immune systems. Exercise: Rain is the perfect excuse for skipping exercise routine.
